⇛ Industry Projects
Industry Institution interaction programmes and Entrepreneurship development programmes are undertaken to initiate collaborative research and industrial consultancy. IPER takes interest in collaborative research as well as in consultancy.
Collaboration with Pharma Industry ----
IPER enters into Research collaboration with IPCA laboratories, Mumbai., Leben Laboratories, Akola., and Unijules Life Sciences Ltd and Associated Companies, Nagpur. IPER focuses on novel drug design and delivery strategies and aims to promote research in different areas having application in the field of Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals and Phytochemicals. The Institute is interested in applied research resulting in product/process development for commercial exploitation. IPER looks forward to have close collaborative relationship with Pharmaceutical Industry and other R & D organizations involved in Pharma research. The collaboration is aimed at maximum utilization of combined strengths.
⇛ Consultancy
IPER encourages faculty members to undertake industrial consultancy. Laboratory and other related infrastructures are being constantly upgraded to meet the current requirements. The institute has established a Centre for Pharmacological Screening and Toxicity Testing in Animals and these facilities are made available to Pharmaceutical Industries. IPER is providing consultancy and testing services to IPCA Laboratories, Mumbai, Shri Baidyanath Research Foundation, Nagpur, Siddhayu Ayurvedic Research Foundation Pvt. Ltd. Nagpur, Go-Dugdha Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Ltd. Wardha, and Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Industrialization, Wardha.
⇛ AICTE Projects
The institute has undertaken many research projects financed by AICTE, New Delhi. Some research projects viz., Upgradation of Teaching Aids and Development of Educational Tools for Pharmaceutical Education using Multimedia Technology (MODROB), Phytochemical Screening of Herbal Drugs (MODROB), Brain Targeting of Drugs by Nasal Delivery System (RPS) and Standardization of Metal Based Herbal Medicines (MODROB) have been completed, while some pertinent to novel drug delivery, drug designing and herbal technology are still in progress.
⇛ Ph.D. Projects
IPER is recognized as the Centre for Higher Learning and Research by the RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur and till date 14 students have completed their PhD on various topics of Drug Delivery and Technology. The topics of thesis are as under.
